They’ll remember the code. We’ll remember the person.

We’ll remember the smile that greeted us every morning, the stories told a hundred times, the favorite blanket, the birthday celebrations, the prayers whispered at the bedside, and the hand that reached for ours one last time.
When the ambulance leaves… we don’t always have the luxury of stopping.
There are still call lights to answer.
Medications to pass.
Families to comfort.
Residents who still need us.
So sometimes we sit in the hallway for just a moment… with one glove still on… gathering enough strength to walk into the next room.
Because caring never ends.
To every CNA, nurse, medication aide, therapist, social worker, housekeeper, dietary aide, and caregiver—thank you for loving people like family.
